Deep Week
“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.”

There are certain weeks that hold special meaning and value to people. For a church community, Holy Week (the week of Easter) and a kids Vacation Bible School, highlight faith during the spring and summer seasons; for Hollywood during sweeps week, television stations hope to dominate the primetime ratings; for a school district, testing week brings extra preparation and communications as the scores become a direct reflection on a local school’s overall effectiveness and could impact future funding.
You don’t have to know about a week-long sale at Target or have a minimum day schedule at work/school or wait for Discovery Channel’s summertime Shark Week to get focused in and fired up about what’s happening on the calendar. Our church family is entering into a special, faith focused and energized time in the month of February, by launching programs that will promote growth, daily times with God, and doing life together in true community. We are launching three different ministries that have us calling next week, “Deep Week”.
1) SPIRIT APP (Begins Sunday, February 9 after 10:45 am and Wednesday, February 12th at 6 pm) This four-week class is designed to help each believer better understand the person, work, and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Due to the confusion and counterfeits out there, many people either shy away from the Holy Spirit or stay stunted in their intimacy with God, spiritual maturity and overall effectiveness. This class will share what the Bible says about topics such as: The Trinity; Speaking in Tongues; Are Miracles for today?; How do I know if God is trying to speak to me?
2) LIFE GROUPS (Winter Session Begins February 10th)
Small groups are a great way to take our faith beyond Sundays and make special connections with others at a relational, organic, and intimate level. Our Life Groups offer a wide array of topics to help each person go Deeper in the Faith, Better connect with others, and grow Stronger in life. This session will include a prayer group, women’s Bible Study, Sunday message recap group, and young families fellowship.
3) WORD UP VIDEO CLASS (Begins Monday, February 10th).
Nothing has changed my life more than reading the Bible and allowing it to be what informs, directs, and encourages me. This class is designed to help people develop a deeper knowledge of the Scriptures and gain practical tools to help cultivate enriching times in the Word. Each week there will be a short video to watch and a special group chat forum which will allow for further learning, discussion, and resources throughout the week.
These new things are here this February and are meant to bring out the best in you for weeks, months, and years to come!
