Holiday or Bust

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have KEPT the faith.”

- 2 Timothy 4:8

Happy October! As we enter into the final quarter of a tumultuous, trial-filled, and even train-wreck type year, I am making a decision and taking a stand! The enemy cannot rob the rest of 2020 and I will stand in faith for all God still has in store! As we move into this final quarter and the holiday season stretch, I want our faith to be focused and filled with expectation. We will not lose heart…we will not give up…we will believe for God to redeem and restore!

Part of our focus in moving forward is based on the coming holiday season. We will finish 2020 strong by offering a CELEBRATION opportunity for the church family and CARE opportunity for our community over the next three months.

1) In October we will have a HALLOWEEN DRIVE THRU EVENT.

On Saturday, October 31st from 5:30-7:30 pm we will have a drive-thru event in the church parking lot. Kids can come dressed in their costumes. We will take their pictures and then give them a goody bag. Please invite other families, as we want to open this event to the public.

2) In November we will be providing GROCERY STORE GIFT CARDS.

We want to make sure that every family can enjoy a Thanksgiving feast! Whether this has been a season of financial struggle or you are wanting to invite people to your house (which means more food), we want to help make your Thanksgiving an abundant one.

3) In December we will celebrate CHRISTMAS EVE with something new.

We will have morning and early evening services that focus on the songs, stories, and gifts of Christmas.

Let us enter this holiday season with joy and faith.Psalm 100:4 tells us to, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.” He is still opening doors, answering prayers, and moving mountains!
